Yes
Orientation
*
I understand that the fellow will be required to participate in the in-person orientation in Portland, Oregon, from September 29 – October 2, 2025, which requires a commitment of 30 to 40 hours over one week.
Yes
Goals
*
I understand the fellow will be required to craft a year-long project plan that I must approve as their supervisor. This includes goals agreed upon by the organization and NTEN for serving a specific number of unique participants, instruction hours, trained volunteers, newly staffed lab hours, or other related service areas. These goals will be tracked by the fellow and reported to NTEN monthly.
Should the fellow leave the organization, another staff member will report program outcomes monthly. Fellows are expected to serve at least 200 unique participants. (While 200 is a baseline for the program, NTEN will work with the fellow and supervisor to ensure the goals are feasible for each organization.)
I also understand that the fellow will be expected to pilot their project within the first 90 days of the fellowship.
Yes
Training and cohort community
*
I understand the fellow will be required to participate in monthly online training. Depending on the training format, the time commitment for these sessions will range from one to two and half hours per month. The fellow will also participate in monthly cohort calls (one hour required per month) with the other fellows. They will commit to being an active participant in the cohort message board.
Yes
NTEN check-ins
*
I understand the fellow will participate in a monthly one-on-one check-in with Digital Inclusion Fellowship staff to discuss plans, progress, and challenges. These calls will be 15 to 60 minutes long. I may occasionally be asked to join the check-in.
