commitment to equity and liberation , we work to ensure our programs and events include a diversity of voices and perspectives, and are as accessible as possible. We encourage people to apply who identify as Black, Indigenous, or other people of color, as well as those who are gender nonconforming, disabled, LGBTQIA+, or from other historically marginalized communities.
Joe Baker Fund scholarship qualification check Each year, NTEN awards five Joe Baker Fund scholarships that offer more comprehensive support than our standard scholarships. Unlike regular scholarships, the Joe Baker Fund covers conference registration, hotel accommodations, and flights.
Named in honor of Joe Baker, former NTEN president and human rights advocate who passed in 2023, this scholarship is dedicated to digital activists at human rights organizations. The Fund continues Joe’s legacy of championing human rights and social impact.
The following questions check your eligibility for the Joe Baker scholarship. If you work in advancing human rights and are interested in applying for the scholarship, you can proceed. If not, you can skip to the general NTC scholarships and volunteer form ahead.
